He is rich.

so he has never gone hungry.
He walks to town every day,
so he has never lacked transport.
He makes his own beer in the backyard,

Did you see her? The old mad woman who walks bare breasted along Robert Mugabe street. Did you hear her? Mumbling ununtterables about the uselessness of ESAP, RBZ and the Zim Dollar? Did you understand the symbolism, as she looked up at the sign that read so boldly "RG Mubabe St" and wag her finger at it?

Hope is dying slowly

The hope seems to be fading away. The man on the street does not want to hear about a deal. He wants to see progress. He wants to see food on the table. Give him that and he will be happy.
